Although the search engine landscape has evolved over the years, the importance of having a strong SEO strategy has not. For Businesses, a strong SEO presence is like having a prime location on the busiest intersection. It’ts the key to unlocking a multitude of benefits ranging from more website traffic, qualified leads to increased sales and ultimately, improved revenue.
When your website ranks high for relevant searches, you’re not just showcasing your information, you’re also attracting potential customers who are already interested in what you offer. Think of a bakery, constantly overlooked on a side street. An effective SEO strategy would be like moving that bakery to a high traffic intersection. For our readers, many of whom have physical locations, the same rule of thumb applies. It’s targeted, cost-effective advertising, building brand awareness and trust while bringing in the right customers.
At the same token, it is easy for a small business to build their SEO Strategy on the wrong footing by avoiding the foundational aspects. Underestimating the time it takes to achieve sustainable results can prevent success and make it difficult to move the needle in an ever-crowded digital marketing space that exist in SERP’s, also known as search engine results pages.
To help navigate the world of SEO, we spoke with Tanishq Goyal, COO of SamBlogs, to discuss SEO best practices, tips and strategies. SamBlogs is an award-winning SEO company based in India and founded by CEO Vikas Singal in 2013. It boasts over 10,000 key words in the top 3 search engine pages and has a vast roster of clients spread out across the world including the United States, Indonesia, UK, China, Thailand and Canada. They have over 40 in house specialists and professionals providing a wide range of SEO products and services in all the major industry niches.
Overview of SEO Services
Many of business owners are currently utilizing an SEO Strategy, but for those who are new to the space, SEO at its core is to optimize and grow your identity in a search engine results page. According to Search Engine Journal, 61 percent of businesses used an SEO Strategy compared to 2023, where a staggering 90 percent have some type of SEO strategy in place, according to Forbes Advisor. Tanishq noted, “a lot of people didn’t know about SEO 10 years ago, but today many companies are aware of it and at the root of it all, the main goal of ranking on google is to get more traffic and making it easier for users to find you.”
“For any website getting started with SEO, even if they have a lot of traffic, the first step would be to evaluate where its current position is, the next step would be to identify the search intent.”

SEO encompasses a range of strategies and components. Utilizing a diverse mix of strategies can help build traction in your company’s search engine visibility. Building a successful SEO Strategy is similar to building a small business where there are dozens of moving parts that must align and work well together to move the needle. Tanishq elaborated on their core SEO offerings, “Some of the main services we offer are link building, which includes guest posts, niche edits, diversity links apart from that, we also help with the on-page of the site, which includes the title tag meta description optimization.”
There are also the technical aspects as well, considering that SEO exists in the digital world, adding, “We also help with the content creation, technical aspects that are critical to success and it can start off with a site and strategy audit that we offer as well.” The site audits are crucial in identifying where your business website stands and how it is currently deployed. This is where the initial planning can begin to take effect.
Important First Steps to Implementing SEO
Once the initial planning takes effect, a solid starting point has begun in the SEO lifecycle, which is key when implementing any business initiative, especially SEO. The analysis is just as important as the strategy and implementation. Moving the needle takes careful analysis and research with the right entry point. Tanishq noted, “For any website getting started with SEO, even if they have a lot of traffic, the first step would be to evaluate where its current position is, the next step would be to identify the search intent.” The search intent is important because it pinpoints to the product and or service the business wants to optimize, essentially an ideal client or target market. Once Samblogs gathers the initial information, they would next analyze the sites Content, ranking etc This includes the stats, rankings & page position.
“We have a team that works 24/7 to help the clients and if something does not work for the client, we will go out of our way to make things right to ensure the client is satisfied.”

The Client Always Comes First
Although industry wide results can vary according to Backlinko, generally only 30 percent of clients are happy with their current SEO agency. For this reason, Samblogs works hard to ensure their clients are satisfied and stay committed to ensure strong results for them. When discussing Samblog’s viewpoint on effective customer service and experience, Tanishq added, “Being there for the client whenever they are needed. You never know what could happen to your website.” There is also the issue of how SEO results operate in a real time basis, and the importance of responding quickly to a customer’s challenge. “At times, you may need an instant fix, it is easy to lose traffic and ranking in minutes. We have a team that works 24/7 to help the clients and if something does not work for the client, we will go out of our way to make things right to ensure the client is satisfied.” Also adding, “Our goal is to ensure the clients are happy with their SEO results.”
Avoiding Common and SEO Mistakes
A large reason why many SEO strategies don’t work is attributed to over stretched goals in a short period of time. Tanishq with Samblogs noted, “A lot of companies that try SEO for the first time expect that 1 month of consistent SEO will achieve top of first page ranking. However, SEO is a continuous process that takes several months to be effective. You need to work on building the authority of the site over a longer period of time.”
Another area to avoid is duplicating content or just adding an abundance of words to get ranking and key words optimization, “They also don’t work on their on-page content. Some companies use duplicate content or key word stuffing and these tactics that can cause red flags.” Tanishq added. Backlinks and links in general, do help a site’s authority as well, but the quality of the links matter. Some companies assume that adding a high volume of links will increase optimization, but this tactic can backfire. Tanishq noted, “Google is smart, its algorithm can detect link stuffing and rewards the companies that avoid overloading links and rewards the quality of the links.”
SEO Trends, AI and the Next Generation
“AI is actually helping companies and SEO companies by understanding the queries the users have.”

Above all, one huge trend is to focus on the user experience and what the audience wants. “People are actually focusing on what users want, including, the site speed, structure of the site, loading times are just some of the trends we are seeing and will continue for a long tie.”
There is also the advent of video and voice search. Consumers are utilizing more voice search than ever before. “Voice search is currently the trend but will remain a factor in SEO long term.” Video search has grown exponentially as well. Companies are using video to communicate with their audience more than ever. Implementing SEO into the video content will improve their rankings long term.
Then there is AI and how that effect SEO, Tanishq added, “AI is actually helping companies and SEO companies by understanding the queries the users have and feature snippets where you get results in a knowledge panel.” Essentially, AI is more of a tool that gives users and companies more clarity and resources. The better the user can locate what they are searching, the better for companies who are targeting that specific audience. Everyone wins in the end.
In closing, we asked Tanishq with Samblogs about any final thoughts. She added, “SEO is a continuous process and not just one thing. Although it may take some time, SEO will bring in the desired results and bring your company to the next level.” It’s exactly those final results that can differentiate a business that uses SEO effectively.
